Cheerful Christmas Decoration

It's already December! I am so glad that November is over. Honestly I can't wait for the first snow. I know that it is a bit early but I decided to find some cheerful Christmas decoration, something simple and not overwhelming :)

Crochet decoration

Winter is almost here, at least in Finland it seems that it has arrived. Only the snow is missing. Crochet blankets, rugs, cushions or poufs are perfect decoration for the cold days, not only they look great but they are also very comfortable. I would like to learn crocheting one day, if it ever happens I will show you my work here in the blog. I have an impression that crochet and knitted decoration add cosiness and a warm feeling even to a very raw, minimalist room.

Colour inspiration - dusty pink

Pink has never been one of my favourite hues. But when I discovered this combination of white, black, grey and dusty pink together...  this is stunning!

Unique lamps

Lamps, especially chandeliers, became my recent obsession. They can be a wonderful object for decoration during the day and  create an atmosphere in the evening. I started looking for an original lamp to our apartment and I am amazed by the variety of types, shapes and materials that are available in the market. Take a look at the pictures of these divine lamps. Each of them provide a different character and personality.

Trend - decorative letters

Letters might be a very strong decorative accent especially if you combine them to form a word. These days you can find decorative letters made from different materials: wood, metal, ceramic or cardboard. They can be hung on the wall, placed on the shelf or even positioned on the floor. This form of decoration definitely brings a personal touch to the room. I absolutely love the first picture!
