There is something about Smeg refrigerators. They are produced in a variety of colours from neutrals to neons! Even though their recognisable style is definitely retro, it is amazing how well they cooperate with modern surroundings. One day I will get one of my own :)

Trend - velvet

So what do you think about velvet? For me, personally there is only one word that comes to mind - extravagant. I also knew that it is quite high-maintenance fabric so I've never been convinced to buy something made from this material. Following my curiosity I did some research and after seeing these colourful pictures I have to admit I like it! It looks very cosy and elegant. My favourites are furniture and accessories in vivid colours, blended in modern style.

Vintage chairs with modern touch

I love the shapes of vintage chairs, especially those from the 50s and the 60s. If you have the opportunity to go to flea markets surely you will find unique furniture from different decades. Give them a new life by changing the upholstery fabrics into ones with modern prints or vibrant hues.
