Trend - velvet

So what do you think about velvet? For me, personally there is only one word that comes to mind - extravagant. I also knew that it is quite high-maintenance fabric so I've never been convinced to buy something made from this material. Following my curiosity I did some research and after seeing these colourful pictures I have to admit I like it! It looks very cosy and elegant. My favourites are furniture and accessories in vivid colours, blended in modern style.

Vintage chairs with modern touch

I love the shapes of vintage chairs, especially those from the 50s and the 60s. If you have the opportunity to go to flea markets surely you will find unique furniture from different decades. Give them a new life by changing the upholstery fabrics into ones with modern prints or vibrant hues.

Colour inspiration - fluorescent accent

Neon colours became a trend in 2013 both in fashion and interior design. When used wisely following the rule "less is more" you can achieve spectacular effects. They have to be mixed very carefully with other colours, the result can be outstanding together with pastels and neutrals, but not necessarily with bright tones. Fluorescent accents can definitely bring some young, positive energy to the room.

Colour inspiration - white

White is a pure, quiet and calm colour, commonly used as universal background to enhance other colours in a space. I would like to show you that white can also play the main role in a room, revealing its elegance, nobility and harmony.

Trend - decorative letters

Letters might be a very strong decorative accent especially if you combine them to form a word. These days you can find decorative letters made from different materials: wood, metal, ceramic or cardboard. They can be hung on the wall, placed on the shelf or even positioned on the floor. This form of decoration definitely brings a personal touch to the room. I absolutely love the first picture!
